Orac the "humanist"?

You fit in with:
Humanism

Your ideals mostly resemble that of a Humanist. Although you do not have a lot of faith, you are devoted to making this world better, in the short time that you have to live. Humanists do not generally believe in an afterlife, and therefore, are committed to making the world a better place for themselves and future generations.

20% scientific.
80% reason-oriented.

Take this quiz at QuizGalaxy.com

Orac would displeased. As the greatest computer the galaxy has ever known, being called "humanist" would be guaranteed to get on his bad side.

And what's with the "20%" science? I'm a friggin' scientist, fer cryin' out loud! Science and taking care of patients are how I make my living.

I have to conclude that this is a rather silly and frivolous test. But, because so many others seemed to be taking it, once again I couldn't resist...

This is a much better religion quiz:

I actually learned something after I took it.

I second Margaret's suggestion: if you take a little time with it, it's quite good.

On the chart, I have serious problems with the way the sections are laid out, and I do think that the test is weighted to emphasize the spiritual answers.

Could be worse, I'm a physician and I scored 0% scientific.

How odd. I scored 20% spiritual, 100% reason-oriented. Basically, I'm right on the opposite side of the faith/reason line from where you are.

According to this test, I'm more spiritual than you and you're more of an atheist than me! I'm shocked I tell you, shocked!
